Better drop some sprogs before you miss out on tax credits ;)

Very much doubt the SD thing will happen - would require the Tories to win.
"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.

to be fair, Cameron was not in any way responsible for the first two, and the third is only a proposal by an opposition party at this stage, so you should really be venting your anger at the man currently at the top who is extremely and directly responsible for most of the issues in this country!

Oh I know I'm just CROSS at all the nonsense and sick of taking a fair balanced view. I'm usually quite whimsical about things most people think are unfair because I truly believe in a more scientific form of karma but today I'm just CROSS with it all.

Another one - sodding business finance more expensive than ever before the year we start our own businesses - seems those who strive to acheive are constantly penalised in this country. Sorry to go off topic :(

don't see how these add up.

Tutition fees started in either sept 1998 / 1999 as far as I remember as I had just finished.
Company cars have always been taxed. Did they recently up the tax based on CO2 emmissions?
Abolishion of SDLT for FTBs / properties under a certain higher threshold has been proposed by opposition parties / think tanks for as long as I can rember but nothing really seems to come of it.

However I feel your anger comrade. I say all politians will be first against the wall when the glorious day comes.

without wishing to turn this into a political debate (which I have learned over the years never to get into :)), that is Labour, New or otherwise, all over

The man who has been solely responsible for 'your money' and/or lack of it over the last 10 years is about to go to the country to ask if he can do it all again please. I say lay the blame where it belongs and not at someone who hasn't had anything to do with this country's present situation and troubles :)

Probably off topic and last word on the subject, I promise ;)

Company car tax was introduced way back in the 70's, it's certainly not a new tax.

I wasn't really blaming Cameron for all my woes, just this particular final nail in the coffin of my financial self-pity.

HOWEVER even when I've given myself the green light for self indulgent woe is me, I still can't help but think back to those early Phireflies slaving for 15 hours a day over matchsticks and living ten to a room in Bethnal Green Slums. Things aren't so bad for me really.

if stamp duty had been abolished when you bought your property, you'd have probably paid 1-2% higher price on it anyway.
    It's a health benefit ...

I started uni same year as tuition fees started (darn my parents not planning me 6 weeks earlier!!), and 6 months ago bought a property, so same boat...

Saying that, I know alot of ppl that voted labour because they were against tuition fees and wanted to get rid of them, and then they went and trebled them!

Anyone has got to be better than Nu Labour!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Blame 60 years of Socialism. The money's been blown on wine, women and welfare.

If they didn't blow so much on welfare (£200,000,000,000 goes on welfare spending and the NHS each year) then we could provide for ourselves.

I dno't know about you, but if I was buying my own healthcare, I wouldn't be spending nearly as much on politicking and bureaucracy as the NHS does!
