Lenovo P2

Hi guys,


Any folks who can help to appraise this phone?

It has a 5100 mAh battery and average spec.


I currently have an S4 and need to upgrade my phone. I use it mainly for browsing, messaging and emailing. The S7/S8 range etc are too expensive for myself and I have budget over around £250.


Is this phone worth it? Can anyone recommend anything else? I have heard the moto g5 plus and Huawei P9 are also good

I have a P2 and love it, battery life is excellent.

Moto G5 has a slightly better camera and a removable battery compared to the P2's massive battery.

Both made by Lenovo.

Thanks for the responses guys, I have had a read through the above posted link and it seems to come down to a better battery or updated OS. I think I might go for the P2, but how does it compare to the G5 plus?

Might be a bit late now. But I've had the P2 for about 3 weeks now. Battery is fairly formidable, I'm a very heavy user so I get about 1.5 days use out of a full charge. Which is amazing. Compared to my S7 edge, which is about half a day. The camera isn't as bad as some say. Although I never use it so doesn't really affect me. The audio is very poor. Terrible speaker and the audio driver is bad too, so through the aux in my car it's rubbish. The microphone is very bad. If it's on speaker phone on my lap, people can hardly hear me.

But £200 phone, can't expect flagship performance on every level. I'd say 7/10, going back is probably go for a Honor 6X.

Plus no official 7.0 on it yet. Very far behind.

The P2 does have Android 7 and has for months.

When I go to system update, it's says I'm up to date. But, still on 6.0. How would I move it to 7.0 ? Got it from Three if that makes any difference.

3 and other networks are either very slow or are not supplying the update, so you just need to flash the Rest Of The World Rom to your phone.
Its stock Lenovo Rom and does not require Rooting and keeps the Warranty intact.
