    The washer sits inside the part of the hose you screw onto the head,

    Flashg67 - can you tell me if the washer is in the shower head itself or is it in the hose, please? I hope it is not a stupid question, thanks. I'm all set to order the eBay one southcoastgirl kindly recommended as in blackcloud's original post.

    Probably too late, sorry. but the washer sits inside the hose and tightens up to the shower head 'input' hole as you tighten the hose up. You can buy them for pennies if yours is worn/split

    Shower hose washers

    shower hose connections are 1/2" BSP, washing machine hose connections are 3/4" BSP.
    A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
