ccbcaq@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk is their old email address.
Looks like they haven't yet got around to changing their auto-response to justice.gov.uk.
Nothing to be concerned about.0 -
I'll give them a call first thing in the morning to checkPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Gladstones have sent us their copy of their completed DQ and cover letter (http://legalbeagles.info/forums/forum/legal-forums/motoring-parking/100347-gladstones-letter-after-filing-defence-advice-needed-please"]leaglebeagles link)
Now waiting to receive DQ form from the court and will prepare it according to IamEmanresu's post.
Since I'll be attending as the lay representative for the defendant and presenting the evidence, should I put "2" in section D3 "Witnesses"?0 -
This came as a bit of a jolt to me as I'd not previously assumed you were anybody other gan the actual defendant (although reading back, you di make mention of being the Lay Rep (seemingly) for the first time just 2 weeks ago (forgive me if you alluded to that previously in the past 12 months+ you've been posting on this - I didn't spot anything).
Are you sure that everything is in the RK's name and you've not inadvertently slipped into 'I' mode and written/communicated in your name?
PS leaglebeagle's link returns a .404 Error. Doesn't work! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

You just need to tell the usher on arrival, on the day of the hearing - no need to mention it before the day - and be armed with the Lay Representatives (Rights of Audience) Order 1999, in case the Judge is unused to Lay Reps in their court:

@Umkomaas Sorry that wasn't clear. I made sure that we maintained the RK as the defendant in all communications and that she read, understood and signed off, where necessary, letters that went out. I just helped with getting our heads around the whole process and did not use my own name anywhere. However, she is not quite up to the task of speaking up in court.0

Quick update. DQ returned along with note to that this case is "not straightforward" and got court location changed to somewhere more accessible. Creating hardcopies of the evidence alluded to in the defence.
Thank you Coupon-mad for the lay-rep guide and KeithP for the video. Feel more comfortable!0 -
A couple of updates:
05th October - Submitted Directions Questionnaire and attached special directions covering letter ("not straightforward").
16th October - Notice of transfer proceedings: claim has been transferred to a county court hearing centre for allocation
30th October - Notice of transfer proceedings: claim transferred to County Court at Clerkenwell and Shoreditch
23rd November - Notice of Allocation...
The letter leads with "IT IS ORDERED THAT: Having considered the papers in our ycase, the court believes that your case is suitable for mediation".
This threw me a bit as, despite us ticking no to mediation, this seemed to have been the main focus of the letter. Yet, further in, we actually have a date for the hearing: 12 Feb 2019. Minus two weeks, we have till Monday 29 Jan 2019 16:00 to submit necessary documentation.0
