Right yes i know the flats they where on Moor Lane ... just thinking some of the pubs a student might have visited , The Ship , Lamb n Packet , i was a bit shocked the last time i came home town was the Preston i knew ...

when i lived in preston (only lived in 2 years, the other year I travelled down from lancaster) i lived on norris street, cant for the life of me remember which pub it was I could see from the stairs window. The other year I lived down near the park and ride on hartington road, now that was good, I could leave the house, go through the traffic lights, round the KFC drive thru, back through the traffic lights and be back in the house within 10 mins with a takeout! hmmm, student days!

lol, id never copy the cd then take it back, i would have all the songs on cds that i could ever need - cheesy cheesy cheesy ones too!

Me i never complainn lol ..Yes Norris St was off Plungington Road i think ? Plenty of pubs down there , yes also know Hartington road well , dont mention KFC PLEASE !

To rip cds to your computer, have a read of this page

Personally I would use wma files rather than MP3. The files are smaller, so you get more on, and on most of the MP3 players you won't notice any significant difference in quality of sound.

Most MP3 players will also play wma, just check in the specs

thanks, ill have a look at those links etc tomorrow and go about getting some tracks onto my mp3 player. For now its bed time for me, another birthday over with

yeah norris street was just off plunginton road, i was near the 24 hour spa (or it was at the time). as for KFC, how about a zinger tower meal (hot chicken with salsa and the works!) with hot salty chips washed down with a nice cold fizzy drink.....did that make you want a KFC!?!
