    Got it.
PwC is highly regarded, globally and especially by our own forum sage.
Unless PwC says something not entirely positive about Brexit.
Yup, makes sense. Let's move on. ;)
Can you get that PwC is a company and not just the one person you refer to within it?
PwC has many advisors with I'm sure an equally diverse range of viewpoints, Andrew Sentence being but one amongst
    many.
    ;)
So yes indeed, do please move on.

    Moving on...

Brexit uncertainty hits Scottish economy, say PwC

Mock if you must but their record is methinks far superior to yours.
Such predictions are one of the many things that they are globally highly-regarded for.
    Pricewaterhouse Coopers:

    ;)
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

Well here's what The Bank Of England thought about Andrew Sentence:
    https://www.theguardian.com/business/2011/may/05/andrew-sentance-mpc-bank-of-england-interest-rates

It seems that most there did not agree with his views then either.
   `

What do the Bank of England think of him?

Which people in PWC do you think we should listen to and which do you think we should ignore? The only pattern I've seen so far is their stance on Brexit.

    Ah yes, still trying eh?
    Certainly still failing.

    That remains true.
There are other sources though whose record may be equally or indeed more reliable - depending upon fact and evidence. ;)

Just one example since you're trying so hard, regarding Scotland:
The latest quarterly economic indicator from the Scottish Chambers of Commerce (SCC) shows most businesses have a positive outlook for the coming months and that the Scottish economy will continue to grow this year.
    http://www.scotsman.com/business/markets-economy/scotland-s-economy-growth-continues-despite-consumer-woes-1-4508945

Now if the Scottish Chambers Of Commerce suggest that the Scottish economy will grow I would trust them above a PwC forecast; they are after all the "heartbeat" of Scottish business.

But I would trust either in preference to a faceless internet warrior.
Especially one known largely for nothing more than "Citizen Smith"-style agitation.

I think it all depends on what they say. ;)

Read the link I included. ;)
They obviously did not think enough of his plans to increase interest rates as he wanted.

PwC are but one source as I said before.
There are many, and it is good to use PwC along with others to obtain a balanced POV if you are to be objective.
Perhaps more contributors in these forums should try it.,

I'm not sure what you're trying to defend here. Are PWC reputable or not?

Is this the PWC which couldn't forecast the Oscars despite knowing the result?

As I'm not sure what you are getting at.
Are PwC supposedly the only source of economic forecasts?
Are other sources not as reputable?

They obviously did not think enough of his plans to increase interest rates as he wanted.

Again, you're talking about his plans and not him. A committee disagreed with his plans; does that make him a bad economist? Is he trying to be too bold with his rate change? Is he more/less pessimistic than everyone else?
That they voted against his suggestion to raise rates on it's own means nothing.
PwC are but one source as I said before.

Oh I know, all sources should be taken on their own merits.

It's just you were holding them up as a bastion of reliability a week ago when they were saying what you wanted to hear, and you're now downplaying them when they aren't. So I'm confused as to whether you've got oppinions on individual economists within them or you're just being hypocritical.

How do you distinguish the articles you're claiming aren't the whole story, being linked by Remairs, whilst posting some yourself? There must be more than whether they agree with you, surely?
