the + sign automatically reads the correct International access code
mentioning 00 or 011 just confuses things

There is a free APP in Google play store which will format all your contact numbers in phone list with + and country code automatically

My iPhone has a dial assist feature that automatically changes home country numbers in the directory when you call from overseas.
We visit Spain several times a year and use Three with "Advanced" contract SIMs and have no issues with calls or texts.
I tried this today from my Sony Z compact handset (back in UK now) and it works. I did try this when abroad on Three CS advice and it did not work.0 -
