LOL I would do n e thing to go back and be a student again- stress free lifestyle etc etc :D

What I used to do was set myself a time limit of 45 mins and then my alarm clock would go off, I'd then have a break for 10 mins and do something I enjoyed -like listen to music, watch a bit of TV, have a bite to it.
One thing I did notice was that I studied better if where I was was tidy and organised and not a tip!

I also found I worked better in the mornings than say later afternoon or evenings- I tried to do between 2-3 hours revision a day- AVOID RED BULL THOUGH!! It will catch up with you l8r -Good luck with it :T

2-3 hours! Blimey is that all, wish I had done your degree!!! I did about 6-7 hours, the gf does 13 hrs at the mo!

The school arranged a juggling lesson at the start of the year for my son's 6th form. So I know when he is taking a break because of the thuds and bumps as his balls (juggling), rings and clubs start hitting the deck.

    What I don't know is what he's taking a break from ...

I'm wondering if he can supplement his loan by busking?

i do that too! the juggling not the busking :D :rotfl:

there is actually science behind it as well. my school were quite into the learning processes thing, learning how to learn, supporting gifted children/children with SEN etc, and they actively encouraged teachers to give us 'brain breaks', where they'd get us to do all these random funny dances, games and things, to keep all areas of our brains active. it helps stops you feeling sluggesih, boosts concentration, and was rewarding as well - its nice to give yourself a break.

as for the busking, if he's got the balls to do it, why the hell not?

Well if you don't at least try and revise then you may end up in a Job like mine!. If you fancy 40 hours a week stuck in a factory like a battery hen doing the same boring thing day in day out, with minimum wage, minimum holidays, openly flouted health and safety, poor working conditions, no sickpay, no pension, no targets, no appreciation, no thanks, no Xmas Parties, no motivation, no bonuses, no pay rise for the last 3 years. A boss who treats you like cattle and a bosses son who runs the firm like Frank Spencer yet whose Father thinks he can do no wrong.........

So does this 'career' really appeal to you for the next 40+ years of your working life?.

if not THEN REVISE!!!!!! and you wont end up bitter and twisted like me, and risk spending the best part of your life, working in a hate filled, back stabbing slime pit, for a boss who makes Mike Baldwin look like Mother Teresa.

Just do your best, and whatever the outcome, if you can hold your head up high and say 'I really did do my best' then NOBODY has the right to criticise you whatever your results.

However if you are too lazy and can't be bothered to revise then you'll have nobody else but yourself to blame!.
