Interesting. Which platform?
I won't ask which loan as that kind of information tends to be deleted.0 -

If you read this thread you will see that many people have been approached by people claiming they can recover their money. They are almost certainly scammers. What will happen is that they will ask you for "legal fees" or "insolvency fees" in order to release your money, which you will never see again. It is a subset of advance fee fraud (aka the Nigerian prince scam) known as "fraud recovery fraud".
Insolvency administrators never take fees from a company's creditors. They don't need to. They are first in the queue, and if there is any money left in the company the administrator takes their full fee first before the creditors receive a penny. Any "insolvency practitioner" who asks you for money is therefore scamming you.
According to Companies House, no administrator was ever appointed to wind up Diamond Construction and Renewables Limited.
As at the last annual return on 14 July 2016, Diamond Construction and Renewables Limited was wholly owned by Diamond Investments Limited. Diamond Investments Limited was incorporated in January 2016, never filed accounts or an annual return, and on 21 November 2017 was compulsorily struck off the Companies House register. At this point, any assets left in Diamond Investments Limited became property of the Crown.
This means if Diamond Construction and Renewables Limited was worth anything, it became property of the Crown after its owner was struck off the Companies House register, and is unrecoverable by creditors. However it is almost certainly worthless, so it doesn't matter.
It does however mean that anyone claiming they can recover anything from Diamond Construction and Renewables via the insolvency route is lying to you, unless they can satisfactorily explain the above facts.0 -
