What have enterdd to win just to break your 'dry' spell?

I have been entering competitions for over 20 years now.
As compers we all know we have 'dry spells' where we cannot even win a sausage, or the tiniest of prizes just to say we have won.
But what have you entered just knowing you had a good chance of winning? Some companies at times will give away a large amount of small prizes.
I was going through my 'Dry spell' and thought what have I got a good chance of winning ?
So a certain betting company where giving away pants, they where called ???? power pants (better not advertise the company)
I entered and waited.
A few weeks later this packet arrived and after opening it I realised I had won a pair of bright green men's pants, because of
1. My great urge to say I had won something
2. Not thinking I really should not bother with this comp.
I did present the pants to hubby who quickly hid them . I told hubby they might come in handy if I do not keep up with the washing, or the washing machine breaks down.
I NOW ONLY ENTER FOR COMPETITIONS I REALLY WANT TO WIN

Nothing really that odd that I can think of, but if I spot a competition that has say 200 small prizes, I will often enter that when I wouldn't bother if it was only one prize of a small value. So for example a mascara, or more recently a pack of sunflower seeds. If I am on twitter on my phone for a few minutes whilst waiting for something, then I enter for more random stuff because it is so simple to RT anything containing a hashtag like #win or #competition. Have won stuff like a cheap water bottle advertising something this way.0

I usually only enter to win stuff I really want, either for me or the family. I did enter the Stabilo one, and won some pens as I was one of the first 1000 entrants - fairly good odds! They're in my present drawer for the grand daughters Christmas stockings. But I am longing for a damp patch (opposite of dry patch!):DI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. Same here, I don't enter for stuff I don't particularly want ... and generally I don't want a Fish Slice ... or small prizes, so I don't usually enter for something that I consider isn't worth my time even bothering with (that even goes as far as a £20 Amazon voucher, for a £20 voucher I can't be bothered )
(Probably why I don't win much!)0 -

This. I didn't win in the Sabilo one though (shame as I have use their pens a lot) but I did enter the Sunny D sock comp and was 1 of 100 winners. It's become a bit of a tradition over the years in our family to find and gift the lots of socks-the novel the better. one of my brothers loves orange juice, so I will be hanging onto those to include with his Christmas stuff2018 wins-12wins0 -
