Hi,

Our Humax HDR 1000S box recently stopped working and of course it is just out to the 2 year warranty that they offer. So I was looking at purchasing another when I thought I'd better make sure there wasn't some obvious trouble shooting advice on their website.

Turns out they are having some issues with the latest software update and the connection to some old TVs. Our TV isn't old but following their advice and using a scart connection service is resumed. I know we should have tried this. Here is the info on it on their website:
