Selling my car - eBay or Autotrader - Advice

Tidy looking car but far too much waffle in the add, some statements such as washed every week from new lead to an assumption that the seller is making it up. You bought from a dealer so how would you know when the previous keeper washed it.
Selling a car less than 3 months after purchase is a huge red flag and will put most buyers off.
Car is massively over priced, the extras may have been £3000 new but that was 12 years ago so only add a few hundred now. There are several more desirable cooper models for sale from dealers in the area for the same money or less. It appears you may have over paid at £4000. Top price is £2250 to £2500 but even that is pushing it. Of course you may get lucky after all you paid £1000 over its retail value.
It's a tidy car, cut the waffle and let the pictures sell it for you.0 -

It's totally depend on your car’s selling price. It’s not easy figuring out how much to ask for your car. Naturally, you’ll want to get as much as you can for it. Useful features provided by Auto Trader is the car valuation tool. Simply enter some of your car’s details and you’ll get a recommended selling price. Ask around your local dealers how much they would value your car, and look at some of the ads for similar cars on Auto Trader.
EBay improve the look of your advert and increase your chances of successfully selling your car. Some features are free and some are paid-for. eBay also provides you more space for your ads, so you should make use of it. Include lots of photos and videos of the car in your ads0
