Selling my car - eBay or Autotrader - Advice
Hi guys,
This is my first post so not too sure if I'm in the right place.
Purchased a Mini One D back in march for nearly 4 grand - Have since decided it's not for me. Want a quick sale, but don't want to make all that much of a loss. Ive got the car up on both Autotrader and eBay - Am wondering if anyone can give me some advise - Is my price reasonable, and are my description and pictures good enough?
Car is honestly in fab condition, so would like top dollar, but don't want to wait it out either.

Not an expert, but what's the age / mileage /specification. I guess you need to see what similar cars are selling for, bearing in mind that you will have selling fees (you'll need to check what they are).0

Well its a 2005, 76,200 miles - It's also got a LOAD of options, worth £3,000// Other cars are selling from dealers at a couple hundred more and to be honest, there aren't others on there. I think I've priced it fairly.0

My pleasure, hopefully somebody with more knowledge than me will be along later, but looking at the pictures seems like a nice enough car to my untrained eye.0

Just remember dealers offer a warranty and you also have some comeback if you get problems with the car so that's why they are priced higher.
Looking on Auto trader i would say you car is priced £800 too much. it may have some extras but on a 12 year old car they aren't going to add much value to the car.
Why did you pay £4000 for it? You could have got one that was 3-6 years newer for the same price with the 1.6 diesel engine.0 -
I see where you're coming from - I did my research throughly, and at the time i didn't think that I would be able to afford a decent 1.6. The point is, I believe I paid the price I paid due to the fact the car had been looked after so so well. Looking back, it was too much money.
Do you think it will sell at the price i am looking for quickly - if not, what is the highest price i could get away with.0
