    ...AND it's been resolved.

Hopefully not because the purchaser is now underneath the shed.

There is case law in matters such as this. Please refer her to the reply given in Arkell vs Pressdram (1971).

How ludicrous, if they've already started the searches etc will they really pull out for such a petty reason? I doubt it, unless they were just looking for an excuse to pull out (in which case if not the shed then something else)

After the original post was blanked, I posted it from the Internet cache @ 4:36 - see post: Since then the text has been largely replaced @ 4:49 - see original post with later timestamp. The cache had "She" so I think it should be when did "she" become "they"...

Perhaps "she" got a partner in those 13 minutes...
  • Might I suggest you acquiesce to their demands.

I suggest you move the shed...and then rebuild it in the front room just before you leave.

No worries there - I tend to say "they" - rather than "he" or "she" in contexts in which their gender is totally irrelevant (ie most of the time). They (ie OP) may have started by deliberately using non-sexist language.

Their solicitor has convinced them that they should be suspicious that we are trying to hide something major like a mineshaft (haha!) under the shed and has demanded we move it before exchange.

Sounds like someone is telling porkies.
