Unreasonable buyer with unfair demands

We seem to be getting bullied by our current buyer for our property. We have been asked to move the shed in the property. We agreed to do this but only after exchange as we use the shed for storage and didn't want to be stuck without a shed if they pulled out. Their solicitor has convinced them that they should be suspicious that we are trying to hide something major like a mineshaft (haha!) under the shed and has demanded we move it before exchange.
We know this is unfair, and ridiculous, and I'm suspecting they will pull out regardless due to their manner at the moment, so I suppose I was looking for absolution on this thread that I am right and they are being unreasonable!

It doesn't really matter if she is being unreasonable or not, what matters is do you want to give in to her demands. I certainly would let her walk away but then I'm your cut off your nose to spite your face kinda gal!."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

            So don't be bullied.
Tell her via her solicitor you're no longer prepared to put up with this ridiculous behaviour.
Back on the market it goes....0

You could consider responding by saying you cannot move the shed because it isn't concealing a mineshaft - it is actually concealing the shallow graves of previous prospective buyers who were making life difficult for you. Completely unreasonable. Draw a line now, be firm. If she actually wants the house she'll still buy it. If she pulls out because you wouldn't dismantle your shed for her then she was never serious anyway.0

I've never heard that one, can she not get a surveyor with an endoscope type camera to look under the shed without moving it? Are you in an area with a lot of old mine shafts?
I think some people are on a power trip when they are buying a house and like to play with the sellers0

As originally posted & remembered by t'InterWeb....We seem to be getting bullied by our current buyer for our property. We have already given in to many of her requests and accommodated requested changes to the property. The final nail in the coffin was asking us to move the shed in the property. We agreed to do this but only after exchange as we use the shed for storage and didn't want to be stuck without a shed if she pulled out. Her solicitor has convinced her that she should be suspicious that we are trying to hide something major like a mineshaft (haha!) under the shed and has demanded we move it before exchange.

For about £5 you can buy a USB endoscope which would do pretty much the same thing - it doesn't prove anything though because the mineshaft - or shallow graves - could be hidden under a couple of inches of concrete.
Next thing is she'll want a geotech company to come in and sink 50m boreholes in the garden, just to check of course!"In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0

If91 it's very poor "netiquette" because it's selfish to remove your text just because your query has been answered. How does this help future posters who might glean lessons or answers from your case ?0
