Thanks, think I might book Cyprus as I went back in 2009 with my late Uncle and quite enjoyed it for a relaxing holiday, so will try and find something maybe travelling out this Saturday 10th then return Friday 16th for 5 full days which should be a decent enough break

Btw It's a long flight to Cyprus, there's perfect weather much closer to home.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Personally instead of Cyprus I'd stick with Spain and the Balearics. Probably cheaper and some lovely places to visit when you get fed up with the pool or beach.
Depending on which coast, you can visit Barcelona, Valencia, Granada. Palma the capital of Majorca has nice old areas and authentic bars & restaurants.
Another place I love but might be outside your budget is the Italian coast from Sorrento down to Amalfi, Ravello etc and a day trip over to Capri. You can get the train to Pompeii. Good food in pavement cafes. I love Italy.0 -
Something a colleague did is take the overnight ferry from Hull across to Holland. Apparently it's a lively atmosphere and you can then take a couple of days on the continent. He got a very good deal including cabin and breakfast but I can't remember who with.0

EasyJet around £130 for your dates. MAN to Paphos.
Thomas Cook and Thomson £85 and £79 respectively Saturday to Saturday. Thomson actually returns early Sunday morning.
Spanish flights a fair bit cheaper.0 -
Malaga.....short early morning flight with EJ, get you there still in time for breakfast.
Train station in the airport that'll get you v.cheaply west as far as Fuengerola every 20 minutes, or into Malaga very wuickly
Malaga itself is a beautiful city, but often ignored by folk who are only interested in getting to a boring beach resort. Lots of streets are traffic-free and a pleasure to wander round. Much to see, countless places to eat, drink and watch the world go by.0 -

Cyprus is nice. Alternatively Gibraltar, could share a beer with some monkeys.0

Been mentioned but what about Palma Majorca
You could stop in Can Pastilla which is 5 mins in a taxi from the airport and a 10 min bus ride into Palma for some very nice sight seeing etcHave a nice day
