Can anyone recommend a good DAB radio for under £50 ?
Thanks
Does this fit your criteria - a top quality one at £49.95 (under £54.90 inc delivery)? I used to get my ink jets from these people so they are kosher enough. Posted also in Grabbit thread so be quick!

why pay £50 for a low quality dab radio when u can get one for £18?0

Yup just try comparing them in a shop (Currys usually has 'em on demo). The Pure one would blow you away. There are several more expensive variations on the Pure Tempus-1 in the same casing design, but the sound quality is the same on each.0

the Alba TRDAB2830 is £35 and was half price @ argos and the ferguson was only £12 does that mean that alba is better than ferguson because it costs more?
you could buy 3 dab radios for £50 i dont see the point in paying extra for the beech effect case.:money:0 -
You're missing the point. It's not about the price or the looks, it's about the quality of the product. I'm an electronic engineer and had a job repairing audio equipment and Bush/Alba/Goodmans (all the same company) have truly horrendous build and component quality, no other companys products even come close to how poor they are (twenty year old components held in place with glue anyone?). I wouldn't give one to my worst enemy, let alone recommend them to decent people on here.the Alba TRDAB2830 is £35 and was half price @ argos and the ferguson was only £12 does that mean that alba is better than ferguson because it costs more?

If people choose to buy a £15 Bush dab radio that's fine, as long as they do so in the knowledge that it is a low quality product that won't work well and won't last long.0 -
You fix radios for a living and have a worst enemy! You must have a very exciting life.I wouldn't give one to my worst enemy, let alone recommend them to decent people on here.
As far as I can tell these are just transistor radios. They don't need to last forever. I have a perfectly good cheap Bush radio in the bathroom - had it there for years, and I'll get a new cheap DAB one when it breaks.0
