Best way for Travel Money in Japan and Hong Kong

I am travelling to Hong Kong and Japan for a month in July I was wondering if anyone knows of good methods of currency conversion. I don't know how much money I am going to need and preferably would not like to carry much around.
Ideally I would like a travel currency card but cannot find any from Hong Kong Dollars or Japanese Yen.
I would appreciate any help you can give.
