UKPC Parking Charge - Stevenage Leisure Park

Leaving site PCNs are almost impossible for them to prove. How do they know that you left the site? What evidence do they have?
Besides, this is probably an unfair contractual term, what would happen if the wind blew a £50 over the road, would you not leave the site to retrieve it?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Thank you for this post and the information about JLL.
I'm about to start a new thread with regards to Stevenage Lesuire Parks parking antics which have been going on for YEARS!! (yes, I've read the Newbys info on this site) and I will elaborate more in my own post on the latest issue which involve "loading/Unloading bays" on the site.
My reasoning for posting here is just to say that, having personally used this site since the day it was built, (I was walking on the floor boards of the sites very 1st entertainment outlets, before the area was even opened to the public) I have shopped on it, worked within the various outlets that have resided on it, and is also home to a NHS physiotherapy Clinic and has ample FREE parking available.
It never ceases to amaze me that the Parking Charge antics of this site and UKPC are still being allowed to invent ways of issuing these unfair, unreasonable, and unenforceable tickets.
JLL clearly recognise that the site is used by many visitors and customers, from surrounding towns and areas, who, not only use it for Leisure purposes, but also for medical.
The Parking Charge company they employ have been extorting the sites customers and users of the area for years, and there are plenty of threads on both here and Pepipoo, just search for STEVENAGE LEISURE PARK.
Its is a real shame that the Stevenage Lesuire Park complaints have always been about the Parking Charge Company. Visitors to this enjoyable site are being deterred to visit as they are in fear of the cost implications of receiving an excessive charge, and having to go through a painful, and very often emotional, and pointless appeal system.
I hope JLL will consider the implications and effects this is having on they're customers and businesses, and start to effectively address the issue, but I fear that even Local MP's protests and intervention's will fall on deaf ears.0
