I will ring up tomorrow & complain... will re order them in original format as that what I want online printouts.

Will keep Bugging them till they sort it....

Bare in mind u may not get the originel format - sum banks only do a list of ur transactions.

Complain away - why do you need duplicates - why did you not keep your copies? Why do you not access the information online.
You need to be careful or you might get a letter saying that the banking relationship between has broken down and they give you 60 days to find another bank.

What you seemed to have received is a SAR request - all the information you need is in there but not in statement format.
(This would tie in with the 40 days)

You could be right but I wanted them in original format as want a neat copy & record of what I spend over the years.

This is for closed current account...

HSBC can send it original format with the words duplicate on them... so will try & see if they can do it for me

At the risk of prolonging this thread...

Why do you want a neat copy & record of what you spent over the years?

And if you really wanted this, why did you not keep the original statements or download them before closing the account?

All sorted I have ordered some Statements in branch and will order the rest tomorrow as can only order 50 statements per day, and I should get them next week
