Battery problem

Hi,
The phone is not switching on, and the charger is not making any difference except sometimes when renewing the contact with the charger, the phone spsrks to life to say charging battery but then the screen goes dead again quite quickly. I'm guessing the battery -which recently seemed to run out of charge quite quickly, has had it.
My battery is a BST 39
and on it it says 920mAh

What I am wondering is there a larger capacity version available i.e. 1500mAh ?

If you find such a battery offered for sale its stated capacity is very unlikely to be genuine or its quality better than the one in your link - buy that. Hopefully the problem is not with your charger or charging port.

A Sony Ericcson battery. What's the phone?
Yes, by your description, the battery has had it - lasting less and less time, then stopping. May also have bulged a bit?!
This battery claims to have 1100mAh, as opposed to Sony's own 920mAh, but does it actually, and how long will it last?
The Sony product is £3, and this one is £6. Maybe the 'new' Sony battery will be absolutely fine - you've probably been using that dodgy one for ages, with a shortening life. But if you want extra life, do try the other one, and remember to feed back to us to help others.
