    Just updating some figures.
The Lloyds CC statement has come through so paid some off that.
Also made a small payment towards the BC to help that one along.

Had a play around with a snowball calculator earlier. It predicted a DFD of Dec 2021. Not the Feb 2021 I calculated. I got a little annoyed with myself thinking my maths skills had declined in the world of Twindom. But alas I forgot my debt payments will increase by £150 a month in a year and there was no way to factor this in. Also it didn't seem to factor in interest saved on the extra loan payments :o

So I'm sticking to my DFD date as being Feb 2021 but aim for a 2020 date.

    Totals as of 22nd July

Lloyds CC £5273.09 £70 paid off
    MBNA CC £3973.15
Barclaycard CC £830 £4.50 paid to round the balance up
    Tesco Loan £7669.44
    Santander Loan £4818.9
    M&S Loan £6359.44
    Littlewoods £82
    Next £25

Total debt as of 9th July £29736.88
Total debt as of 11th July £29684.01
Total debt as of 14th July £29524.01
Total debt as of 16th July £29155.52
Total debt as of 21st July £29105.52
Total debt as of 22nd July £29031.02

What is the plan on childcare when you return to work by the way? The costs for that could be a killer.

I'm extremely fortunate that my mum looks after my kids whilst in work. She is honestly the most amazing woman. We give her money and provide snacks etc but she generally doesn't want anything.

Out of interest I looked at a local nursery and the costs...for the twins full time it would cost £1800 a month :eek: I just about earn that a month.

Tornado toddler will be in full time nursery come Sept 2019 and so the reality is she'll only really have the twins in the day.

Just popping in to brain dump and it's not particularly MSE based. However, I figured as I don't have any other journal online or otherwise for my day to day ramblings I thought this was a good a place as any for this.

So almost 2 weeks after the urine collection fiasco I get letters from the hospital. No jaundice concerns. ..good news. Bad news. ..they want another urine sample from twin 1....:rotfl: or rather

Today is the last day of term there's no way I can spend my time collecting urine from Twin 1 whilst keeping an eye on the rest. I guess I must try :o !!!!!!

The twins are now proving to be a lot of work. Very fussy and want to be held alot otherwise they scream. Some of it may actually be due to getting their tongue ties snipped yesterday, they've seemed unsettled since then.

Tornado toddler has most definitely taken advantage of me being preoccupied with calming the twins. She can now kick open the downstairs baby gate and get upstairs. Not necessarily an issue as she's fine going up and down stairs. But she can open doors and cause carnage. ...in silence. Today's effort has been the emptying of an entire bottle of shampoo in the bath, on the bathroom floor and her bedroom floor. ..luckily she has laminate. I've not actually had a chance to check everywhere

    Give me strength.

Need to get time to write a lost of achievable and cheap, but preferably free activities with the kids over the holidays. Already have weekly library visits planned as they have a reading challenge on which DS is keen to do.

Must go...Tornado toddler thinks she's helping with sweeping up, but is actually spreading mess

Oh Mummy bear what a trial. You are doing amazingly though and the tongue tie snip will leave them a bit out of sorts for a couple of days.

Do you have a 'home start' in your area? They provide volunteers to support families with young children, especially multiples. My friend had a Home start
Volunteer visit her twice a week for over 18months, a couple of hours at a time. Speak to your health visitor. The other option maybe a student on the new version of the nneb nursery nurses course. They used to be required to do a 'home' placement, you'd be a perfect candidate. - again, speak to the health visitor (or ring the health visiting team and see if they have a nursery nurse who works for them, our nursery nurse
Is a million times better than even our most lovely health visitor )

I'm most definitely going to speak to the HV.

Thankfully my sister is able to help over the summer but I'll need to think ahead.

First day of the school holidays started today.

Also attempting potty training with the tornado toddler. So far she's pee'd in the garden twice, pooped on the living room floor and popped on her brothers bedroom floor!! I genuinely tank this is the hardest part of parenting :rotfl:

I've dug out 3 packets of cupcake making kits I'd bought ages ago. We've made one packet so far. That was actually a success.

OK, now to the MSE stuff. DH Loan payment has gone out and I've cashed out my Qmee pot and paid that off the BC (£12.93) and a futter £3.52 towards BC from a bit of an acounts tidy up x.

Sub £29k is brill. You have a lot going on with your brood. DD tried to potty train her DD1 in February prior to DD2 being born in April but she was stressed beyond belief and they abandoned it. She was around 2 and a half then. She tried again 2 weeks ago when DGD was 2 years 10 months and she got it in a day or so. Completely dry and clean now in less than 2 weeks. Sympathies on the twins needing constant holding. That must be so difficult with 2 of them and a toddler plus an older child. You deserve a medal
