    Is it a gaming pc?
    Where is the graphic card?
    How much?

Chose a motherboard wit 4 RAM slot, so easier for upgrade in future.
Chose DDR4 2400 RAM, cost difference is minimal.

on his last pc he had a hard time watching twitch on source and having another page up at the same time. he said it was running so slow. he wants it just for the net and not gaming he has a ps4 for that.

he wants to live stream on twitch from his ps4 in to a pc so that it looks and sounds better than just doing it from the ps4.

the cost of the pc is 750.00 i think it has a graphics card will have to phone shop to ask.

    thanks for the help.

Is he build it himself or the shop will build it?

The list above probably cost £620. I expect computer shop would charge 10 - 15% for building it?

If he build it himself for £750, he probably got GTX 1050ti...

If you are gifting him the PC, then fine. However if you are being led into thinking that this is the only pc in the world that can just barely replace his old one, but i am forming an opinion without really knowing what he is doing, and would suspect you perhaps are a bit gullible/trusting/naive, rose tinted glasses?

most broken PCs can be fixed.

When he goes to uni in (a few years??) will that be a laptop too?

I have not had much to do with Twitch, but even those on fast links with decent computers were having trouble, and this £750 is a very good upgrade, especially for a web gaming videos

    Hi all
No Dominic is not building it , The shop is putting it together for him ,
His other computer the mother board , fan , and mains have gone it was 6 years old .

My son is disabled and this is what he wants to try to do he never goes anywhere .

so he did not want stuff on the computer that he would not use .
so all in all as long as it has a graphic card in it as well its not a bad computer then ?

If it is gaming PC, video card is the deciding factor.
Tell the shop it has to be RX 560 4 GB or GTX 1050ti 4GB as min.
If funding not enough, skip SSD and get 8GB RAM only. Upgrade when money available. So get motherboard with 4 RAM slot is required for upgrade in future.

BTW, could you reuse the old PC case and Windows license to save £100

Mum obviously hasn't quite grasped Twitch yet then?? Much better to participate than be a bystander.....The more you Twitch, the more you'll want to participate....;)
