Memorandum of Sale - Delay by Estate Agent

It has been 8 days since my offer was accepted and sent my DIP and solicitor details to the estate agent.

However I am yet to receive Memorandum of Sale from the estate agent.

Could this mean that the vendor is waiting for more viewings and offers before giving go-ahead to the estate agent to send out the Memorandum of Sale

When I called Estate Agent. I was told they will do it "tomorrow"

Realistically, it could mean anything or nothing.

    For example:
    - The EA may be waiting for the seller's solicitor's details
    - The person in the EA's office who sends them out is on holiday
    - The EA is disorganised

I guess it's worrying, if the vendor and/or EA can't get their act together - and that the EA isn't explaining the reason for the delay.

But if the vendor has accepted your offer, what makes you think they are doing more viewings?

I guess some vendors tell EAs to do strange things, but it's not really in the EA's interest to continue viewings.

Mine only delayed until they saw proof of funds. If you have sent mortgage agreement and solicitor details then the MOS should follow straight away.

Odd but they may just be concentrating on other sales.

I wouldn't worry, just call them again today and say you want the MOS today as you want to proceed with the sale and without tye MOS it makes you wonder whether something is up.
