It's a 2.0 TDI, I'd say the likelihood is it does have a DPF, as these were fitted to the 140bhp version from 2007 (the 170bhp engine version has always had a DPF). Even if it doesn't have a filer fitted the 140bhp 2.0 tdi is renowned for being particularly bad and should be avoided.
If it does have a DPF then indeed it's user problems. For the benefit of the original poster essentially short journeys will kill a diesel car.0 -
Why bother buying a new car when apparently under the new consumer protection you can just buy 7 year old cars and return if if they go faulty within 6 years.
A old car purchased 18 months later it went faulty I can't possibly see how trader can be held responsible0
