Wow! angelkay, really Well Done! and such great news for you. (You were an early bird this morning)
How much is the chemist paying you? if she is going to charge £29. I think I would have charged more. They look more expensive and the ingredients are enough to charge a bit more but---- maybe she wouldn't have taken them. Did she get in touch with you or did you approach the chemist?
Sorry for the questions, I'm just curious how people come to sell in different places!
The chemist is paying me £20 a cake. My cousins wife works there and her and another employee were discussing a cake that i recently made for her when they were overheard by the owner. my cousins wife showed him the pics of it on her mobile and he asked her to get me in to discuss selling them in the shop0 -

the bottom tier is a blanket, the middle tier is a muslin and the top tier isn't wrapped but has scratch mittens under the ribbon0 -

i popped into dunelm mill today and picked up blankets for £1.99 each. they had cream blue and green which have different embroidered designs on them i also found pink ones but a different style i their sale section reduced from £6.99 to £1.99
hope that helps someone0 -
These are 2 cakes I have re-done. I posted pink ones a few days ago but decided to change the bows and put at top. I am making 2 each of pink & blue as I couldn't make my mind up - blue or white muslins etc.
I bought 5 of each colour towels ages ago.
Angelkay, I wish there was a Dunelm Mill near me. Really struggling to find "cheap" blankets at moment.0 -

They are gorgeous and I love the way you put on your muslin:D0 -
I thought our Dunelm had stopped selling them as well but on wandering around the shop the other day I saw they had moved them right to the back with the cushions! Not anywhere near the nursery bedding as they were originally. They had all the colours, pink, blue, lemon, cream and mint. I did notice on their website they have "pet" fleece blankets in pink and blue. Nothing to distinguish them as pets (no paw prints etc). They're 80cm square and the blue ones are £1.24 and pink £2.49.0

Riggerz - just read on the HB thread, you bought the set of 3 baskets. Me too!!! I havn't made up any baskets before so thought I might have a go.
I bought a basket from £1 shop last wk (I was going to line it myself) Goos shape and size but normal basket colour and the wicker was quite rough. It crossed my mind that One little bit sticking out would rip the cello, apart from the fact that it is not that good for baby stuff, so am glad I found these.
Went into Wilcos after and they had some nice sets but £10. They had a really nice set of dark grey with burgundy lining if anyone is doing mens hampers.
Really excited about doing the baskets, I usually just sell gift baskets for adults but couldn't resist these as Im doing a baby fair on 7th June ( very nervous!!) Just have to decide what to put in.
So far I have a WTP picture frame, soft toy, blanket....... Thanks to everybody in the crafting threads who inspired me to start my own business!!0 -
