  • Moonpenny- Bless you, 12 miles- thats no joke! I've been to my nearest asda today too and they didn't have anything reduced either!

AngelKay- I think your cakes are gorgeous and definately look good enough to sell. I can't advise you though as I only sell to friends or friends of friends at the moment.

Just wanted to say thank you to the people who said Sainsbury's for the winnie the pooh stuff. DP took me down after work today and I got some lovely vests and some muslin's with WTP on too. Just need to get cracking with making the cake now! Tomorrow's job I think. x
:love:11th March 2010- Got engaged to my amazing fiance, planning our wedding for 2012:love:

Was wondering only the other day how you become a member of Costco? Can anyone tell me please cos there's one near me... TIA :D

Iv'e pmd you the costco details. hth We didn't renew after the year was up. It's hard not to spend £100 a time when you go as everything is in bulk and once VAT is added i am not sure it is that cheap when supermarkets and other shops have such good deals like bogof and 342 and of course the sales we found the normal shops better. Of course you are bound to get some things cheaper though.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

Oh I feel awful this morning......my best friend of 38 years came by to pick up a cake I'd made for her sister ( who went into labour at home and her hubby had to deliver baby, 9lbs8oz eek )

I packed a few extra things inside it and made it specially nice. I was thinking I wouldn't take anything for it, or just the cost price if she insisted, but she had the full amount I normally charge sealed in an envelope.......all this at 7.15 this morning.....now I think I'll feel guilty for the rest of the day!:o
You'll make my day if I know I've been helpful to you in some small way,
so please press my :T thanks :Tbutton x

Feefeedee, don't feel guilty, she wouldn't have paid for it if she didn't want to! ... lucky dad delivering his own baby! What an experience that must have been!

They have a website aswell but the website is very poor with very little stock on there. http://craftonline.co.uk/

I haven't had a chance to get upto Boyes yet, had lots going on at home, plus with my back still being bad I am still not as mobile as I want to be. I still haven't found the ones I wanted to find, but have a few different pairs here which I managed to pick up cheaply.
I don't get on here as much as I should, so many other things happening and I always forget to take pics of the cakes!
