Nappy Cakes

Hi, this is my 1st post on this thread, I have been bitten by the nappy cake bug after looking at your fabulous creations!

I have decided to make a nappy cake for my sister who is expecting and also a girl at work.

I have just been to asda and found a box of 140 size 3 huggies for £10 which I thought was very good - just a heads up.:D

Im back from shopping and got to load the car up soon ready for tomorrow and then i have work later

Ive settled on size 4 nappies
1 pink and white spotted pjs with winnie the pooh on
3 pairs of socks pink, white and pink/white stripes
1 tommee tippee pink trainer cup with eyore on it
1 toddler cardboard book, with chalks and board on each page and story.
1 shining star pink teddy,

Lovely cake Emma, it looks great.

I know this isn't a "nappy cake" but I can't resist showing you my very first attempt at a "real" cake for my friends little boys first birthday! I've run out of liquorice allsorts so will have to add them to the remaining carriage later!

Wow!! I wish I could bake. I cant even make cakes from a box and all you have to do is add water:eek:

Not actually gotten round to buying everything for my 2 cakes yet but is this a good price. I have no babies so no idea how much nappies cost.

Where is a good place to get the cheap cake boards?
