    Cookiedough that is absolutely gorgeous!!!!
  • thank you bellag. I was really pleased with how it came out and she is going to be amazed at everything packed inside. The little anchors are because the dad to be is in the navy. I bought them from ebay for 8p each, I think they add a lovely touch.

    My pricing is:

    1 Tier costs me £14 I sell for £15
    2 Tier costs me £15 I sell for £25
    3 tier cost me £16 I sell for £35

BUT I am working on the 3 tier as it def needs more added to it :)

Your only problem you may have is most of us tend to buy clothing in bulk to keep it cheaper, but obviously you dont need that much. For this reason it may be worth buying doing a smaller cake (less nappies) but stuffing it with clothing :)

Congratulations on your engagement! I read about it as I was trawling through for pictures.

Hope you're not going to make your wedding cake out of nappies.

I agree with the other poster about your Tier 1 cake, why not charge a few quid more!

I think I might try and do a one tier cake for my BIL's kid when it comes. It should, in theory, be less scary? Right? And hopefully less time :).

    The sock-a-cakes are beautiful too.

Do you have any of your one tier cake pictures on here please.

BTW, to you all: this seems a really nice friendly 'feel good' thread, I may join in and post from time to time even if I NEVER get to do a cake. Hope that's ok with you.
