Popkins both the cakes look really fab! :T :T
I love the spotty ribbon you have used as well. Pink teddy works well. Could you put a little yellow ribbon around your blue teddy too to bring it all together like you have done with the pink teddy?
Well done you!

I have only sold a few so far locally but have just been asked to post one.
Can anyone give a rough cost for buying 1 box, packaging and postage or courier charges?
I really think I just want to keep this local at the moment anyway.
Thanks
I use parcel2go as the courier and pay about £7 ish I think it is just over with the vat. you will be able to buy 1 box on ebay I would have thought but you need to measure your cake to make sure it will fit. remember to add the price of the box onto your costs. I use air pockets and peanuts for packaging and they always arrive in perfect conditionRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

I was looking at photo tents on Ebay last night after all my photos for my leaflets were a disaster. What size have you ordered and how much did you pay for it?
Hiya hun - I ordered the 80cm x 80cm and it cost me £9.88 plus £7.88 p&p - not as cheap as Rusty got hers a little while ago but it was the cheapest I could find on Ebay and needed it quickly as I'm starting to panic at the amount of money I'm spending so REALLY need to get my leaflets done & dusted so I can start earning some money back!!! Leaflets are all but done apart from the photos & a bit of tweaking with text!! HTH
PS. I haven't got photoshop so just played about with powerpoint to come up with something I like and just copied & pasted the photos from Picassa!! My OH has got Publisher on his work laptop so might see if thats any good...0 -
Bellag - love love love your little sock cupcakes - look truly scrumptious!!

I have had to say no to posting it. It was going to work out quite expensive to buy one box and sent it and I don't think she quite realised the cost implications involved.
Gosh I will never be a great buisness woman at this rate:o :rotfl:0 -
You will have to show us a photo Rusty but i must say mine are very very easy to do like you mine are selling like hot cakes i cant keep up with them. What do you put yours in then if you dont use boxes
I will take a photo of these ones I have to do for sunday. Didn't get chance to photo the other ones as I had to deliver them today and my battery was flat!
I use the paper cupcake cases and have them on a small board then wrapped in cello. They look really pretty. I like how you have used the boxes. But I doubt if they came in more than a couple of cakes with this lot round here then they wouldn't sell. I think people up here are just awkward. I did the flannel cupcakes aswell and put flowers in them but can't locate any lemon ones so haven't finished them all off yet til I can find some. again they are in a paper case.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Irlip the seller who sells the pooh cases has no items on at the min as she is away. I get various cases from her normally for the flannel cupcakes and various other things. shop is baking frenzy and username is noonoo something
What size are your cakes? I stick to one size with my cakes and all my boxes are 12x12x18Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
