well I woke up this morning with 2 ulcers and a spot on the chin. . so as i had a pink cake to make I thought i may as well go for the spotty theme.

Lovely cake chatty! is the blanket a home bargains special? Our HB has some like that in and they are a one off ... I am tempted by them though as they look beautiful!

yes it is a HB.£1.99. never seen them in ours before but its lovely and soft so thought I'd try it. not that keen on the colour of the blue so never bought any of those.i normally use the other ones from HB that have the matching rattle teddy as i like the way the blanket finishes when you fold it diagonally..

I had to walk past ethel austins and they had 20% off everything so had a nosy in. i bought a 7 pack of bodysuits all with cupcake designs on for £2.00 minus the 20%.. the quality isn't brill but would do for the design feature on a budget cake I sometimes have to do.. they do look good tho..

Need your opinion on the 3 cakes.

1 teir is £15, 2 teir is £25 and 3 teir is £35 (£40 with a bottle of wine).

Reckon they look ok?

Lovely colours ...I like the single tier one.. its chic....
but how on earth have you managed to hold ellie on the top tier of the 3 tier cake. ??

Thanks Rusty, but I wouldn't worry about it, was hoping to deliver the two of them tomorrow evening.
As long as they don't keep us waiting all day at the hospital :rolleyes: I can go ribbon shopping when I get back.
Now off to battle with some cello :mad:

my friend has asked me to make her a bath cake up but she had already bought all her stuff so i can't make any money out of it really but i wanted to know how do you get the cuddle robes to look so neat with the hood at the front of the cake? She has gave me a really thin and small robe and i can't for the life of me get it to look nice.
