I also managed to pick up a tatty ted at Hooties (Midlands) for £1 it had an anniversary ribbon across its front paws but it came off easy
I miss Hooty's!!! Was thinking the other day how great Hooty's would be for cake making accessories. I bet I would get some green leaves from there! Will have to pop in when we go home.
Thanks for your comments girls. I really love making them, although I am quickly becoming a perfectionist!!!
Has anyone ever done a NCT nearly new sale???"There are no pockets in a shroud..."0 -

Bargain Babe Well done! Your cakes look lovely. I especially like your choc/cream one too.
I know what you mean about toys being thin on the ground. How much would you pay up to? I average about £3 but I have paid up to £5 which I don’t like doing. (Have also got bargains in the past for £1.50)
H&M do a choc brown teddy with cream front and bow – can’t remember if it’s £2.99 or £3.99. (Babies section)
Who was looking for PLASTIC DUCKS? Pound stretcher had packs of Mother & 3 babies for £2.99 and also a smaller size for £1.99.
JulieH – Congrats on your 3 orders and fingers crossed for your fair on Saturday.0 -

Hi all,
not sure if it counts for sainsburys, but my local one has got a mini sale on but it is full of baby items. just a few were:
Hooded bath towels with wash mitt (winnie the pooh design)
large selection of bibs
Vests
Baby gros (some with matching vests)
gro bags
Winter sleep suits (the fluffy ones)
Bibs were starting @75p for 3 and they had 7 vests for £2.50
Hope that helps x0 -

I was just thinking about Business cards and the like. What would you put for a job title??? Has anyone had poster/leaflets, etc designed and printed for them?
Shelley, I love the printed baby ribbon, hope you don't mind me using it?
I generally pay around £3 for the soft toys, although I did buy the beige Ellies from Asda for £1.50. Shame there wasn't more in diff colours.
Will have to get my old girl to have a look in H&M for that teddy as I havent got any bargain shops hereThank you for the tip!! xxx

Well I have my first order. My MIL gave one of my small cakes to a childminder she knows who has just had a baby. Only problem is she wants me to use all natural products! I know I can get the nappies from Boots but does anyone know where I can get reasonably priced organic baby clothes? Just had a quick look on the net and sleepsuits are about £15 each!Avon Rep - C13 68.86; C14 259.29; C15 218.28; C16 268.42; C17 ...?
