Hiya - have been lurking for a while - loving all your nappy cakes!! Am desperate to do one myself LOL!! but with no-one to do one for its driving me mad!! Have been itching to go and buy stuff to make one but have resisted until yesterday!!! I know a lot of you seem to have trouble getting soft toys to go on the top for a reasonable price and yesterday I found these cute teddies in Tescos for £2.45 each they come in pale pink, lilac, pale lemon/cream and brown - they're very cute and the eyes are stitched so no problem for babies!! Before I knew it two of them had jumped in my trolley...

And they also had Winnie the Pooh characters - Pooh, Eeyore, Piglett & Tigger - a little bit more expensive at £3.73 and whaddya know Piglett jumped right in my trolley too!!! LOL!

Its madness cos as I say I have no-one to do a nappy cake for although my SIL is pregnant but very early and not due til October I think!!!

Just to be on the other side of the fence - i received a beautiful nappy cake this week from my friend. It's so lovely to be the receiver rather than the giver!

Would anyone be able to give me some ideas on how to make an ingredient card please?

    Are these necessary?

    Thank you

I think they add a nice finishing touch to the cakes, they easiest way is to use word
you could just type the list of things in the cake and cut it out in the shape of a tag, decorate, punch a hole in it and attach it to the cake.
or you can make a small card with say it't a boy/girl on the front list the ingriedients inside and put your contact details on the back ( useful for future orders )
let me know if I can be of any help

    Thank you.

I am useless when it comes to anything technical so I will get my DH to give it a go for me.

Hiya - I'm guessing you mean Pound shops? If so - I do - what were you after? I'll probably be heading out for a mooch in the week!
