Credit card elagibility checker

I have just used the MSE credit card checker and results are showing highest match for MBNA
It doesn't ask for existing credit card details, but does it get this information from my details I filled in on the form.
I already have an MBNA credit card and thought you couldn't apply to the same company?

When you fill out the details for the eligibility checker it will do a soft search on you - hence why they can show you what cards you are likely to get.

You are allowed as many MBNA cards as you like.
