Definitely! I also dislike the points scoring made by a party currently in opposition- "after 7 years of X". To me, it sounds like playground chat and, more to the point, aren't the Opposition supposed to oppose, not sit quietly until the election?
Council Tax does need looking at again, but it is a political hot potato and therefore Governments tend not to commit. There was a revaluation done in 2003-04 but nothing ever came of it.
Perhaps the key question should be why are local services so badly funded from central government?!0 -
