Sorry Toto but I just had to respond to that post, I'm a big Bon Jovi fan so ever so slightly jealous!
I know the starstruck feeling I was lucky enough to meet Slash and did the whole jibbering idiot thing myself, but I guess they're used to it lol must happen a lot. When me and my friend met Tommy Lee we were like giggling little school girls, silly really cos I know they're just people really!Well, depends on what you call good :rotfl:
I've been doing this for around 18 years so I've played with plenty of people. In my experience the better people are musically the nicer and more humble they are. Then you have the likes of liberty x
There is only one person who left me star struck, like a jibbering idiot. All I could say was ... oh hello (meek little mouse voice). That was David Gilmour who has been a hero of mine since I was a kid. The rest are just people. Last year at the Channel 4 hall of fame awards I was chatting to Jon Bon Jovi and I didn't have a clue who he was, despite working with him in the June (not on drums, my company did sound for him at Old Billingsgate)... oops.
Anyway enough of that I hate talking about this stuff.
So who else is making MrBE a cake today then?Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0 -
El, sorry about your Uncle xxx
Sammy - yep, that's what 'massage' means in our house too

Maybe it's just a male thing - my DF thinks the same!
Had a bit of a splurge - 2 Next shirts for work & a gorgeous Per Una long cardi from the BHF shop whilst out avoiding police horses & Tories in town! Still, if the cardi doesn't fit, i will probably cover the expense by chucking it onto Ebay!
BTW, Ebay 1/2 price listing day on Thursday.
Toto, I can totally understand going star struck at meeting Dave Gilmour - he, Roger Waters, Jimmy Page & Robert Plant are Gods in our house!

"Massage" isn't a code. It's a blatant come-on!
And I think most of you would worry if your blokes didn't think that and at least try it on!
