Hi everyone,
Dear me, not a good day for many people at all at all! Well I've had a NSD so far and lunchtime is over, but going for a swim again tonight for £2.40 (last night was the first in ages and I felt fantastic afterwards!)
PinkKat - as for your eBay prob, I'd recoup the 50p by sending it second class rather than first - after all, you waited long enough for your money! Starting to think eBay is more trouble than it's worth!

Things are good here, hubby arrived home early this morning, dumped his washing and went out to work again. He has a day off tomorrow (don't expect to be seeing much of me:D )
I was going to the digital download awards tonight but I'm still full of a cold and can't be bothered with getting all glammed up. So I think I'll skip that. I don't know if it's just me but as soon as the cold weather starts biting I go into hibernation mode, I never want to go anywhere.
I've been offered more work today which is nice, I'll be busy through November now, bits and pieces during October because I was supposed to be away so nothing is booked. A month off is fine by me though.
So, today I have to make a cake because MrBadExample off Old Style said so. Of all the things I can't cook cakes seem to be right up there with yorkshire puddings, if it turns out well enough for me to put my name to I might post a pic.:rotfl::A

Toto what do you do for a living? The playing drums thing has intrigued me
Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0 -
I'm a session musician. I play drums for a living... It's not a bad job as jobs go if you can deal with divas

Toto, can I go to the downloads instead! I would love to have the chance to glam up.
OH not speaking to me! I went for a run after work last night (ran 2.3 miles) but too tired to discuss a website he is building after I had got home, made the tea, put the baby to bed and done the dishes, so he threw his toys out of the pram and is sulking!
Its okay, his new phone PAYG! is being delivered today, I might just hide it for a while:rotfl:
And as I ran last night, I have felt very virtuous and have had salad for lunch (although I have sent someone out for a turkish delight 5.5 syns on slimming world).
Snags - in our house OH thinks 'I need a massage' is code!:rotfl:Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Fab have you played with anyone good?
Well, depends on what you call good :rotfl:
I've been doing this for around 18 years so I've played with plenty of people. In my experience the better people are musically the nicer and more humble they are. Then you have the likes of liberty x
There is only one person who left me star struck, like a jibbering idiot. All I could say was ... oh hello (meek little mouse voice). That was David Gilmour who has been a hero of mine since I was a kid. The rest are just people. Last year at the Channel 4 hall of fame awards I was chatting to Jon Bon Jovi and I didn't have a clue who he was, despite working with him in the June (not on drums, my company did sound for him at Old Billingsgate)... oops.
Anyway enough of that I hate talking about this stuff.
So who else is making MrBE a cake today then?:A

I haven't wrote on one of these for ages so I hope it's ok if I do now?!:D
sorry all that are feeling down hope something good happens to you all!
today I am doing a 12 hours shift and have £0 so made my tea last night and left some over for today and the dog climbed on the bench and ate it! so I brought 2 slices of bread and a bag of crisps with me and I've eaten it already!
.
I used 62p from my betfred acct to put a L31 on and have the potential of winning £4,000 from it!  ....if only! lol. I will let you know if I win!
