I'm not going to do too well today £13.50 for me. £10 for my sister's b/friend's b/day present and £3.50 for my netball game I play every second week. I have brought in my lunch though and won't spend any money otherwise.

    Morning

It's not a wonderful day for me today, I have a nasty cold, one of the girls in the office is being a complete moo and I have more snot than I know what to do with!

But other than that, I'm ok. Although hungry, really pleased that it is nearly lunchtime!

I need to remember to cut up my last store card tonight as I forgot yesterday. I need to do it as the account was paid and closed yesterday!!! :T

How about you? How's your day?

  • I'm ok, bit tired, think I overslept again. I am just so tired lately, can't seem to get up in the morning!

Am off to work on 20mins, am hoping my incentive vouchers have arrived! There is also a competition going on a work to think up a way of helping the environment in the workplace. Seems no one else can be bothered to enter so I'm going to - 1st prize is £100 and seems I'm not gonna have a lot of competition! :T . My degree is in geography so might try and blind them with a bit of science to prove my idea should win!

On a DFW note, money diary going well and have had a good start to £10 a day in oct. challenge. :j

  • Morning all,

I am still poorly sick ... grr :(

And to top that off I finally received a payment for an item sold on ebay in the post today (she said she had posted it last week) turns out it has taken so long as she addressed it to the wrong number and so it had 'Not at this address' scrawled on the front and had clearly been taken back to Royal Mail .... anyway to cut a long story short ... I finally receive postal order in todays post only to discover shes paid me £11 not £11.50 she owes me!!

How downright cheeky - what do I do?! I've sent her an e-mail to which she has yet to respond!

Grrrr - Hope your days are going better than mine :)

I too am sniffling at my desk, the cold pills dont seem to be working but at least they were given to me so it didnt cost me anything! I wish I was lying on the sofa with a hot water bottle:www:

I need to get my rent money from my lodger and I think that can go off my overdraft as next month I have my mums birthday, my car MOT, tax and insurance to sort out  so if I over pay the ccs too much I will need to stick something on them.

Only 4 and a half hours till home time, then I am doing a favour for a friend and instructing someone in the ways of the web, but hopefully I should get something for my troubles as its not the friend I am tutoring.

not the greatest day here either. Been feeling down for a couple of days and was trying so hard to feel cheerful this morning, then the bus got stuck in traffic and I ended up 25 mins later in getting to work so instead of being 15 mins early I was late!!! Then I gets organised to try and do my work in an efficient order (think I have some kind of ocd) and my team leader announces I'm getting my work induction, SIX weeks after starting which takes over an hour out of my morning and throws me totally behind.

    Deep breath.

If I had any money on me I'd have been off to the canteen for chocolate already.

Gosh we're a sorry lot today eh?

ps how could I forget, my dior mascara rolled off the shelve and smashed on the floor this morning, gutted
  • how did I miss this??? lol will go delete the other one I just did!

I'm having a great day.. for a change lol

Me to, having a really good day, my back has been killing me recently and hubby got up this morning, massaged it, then ran me a bath!

Natasha seems to be having a little break from teething today, she is placid and happy.......she SHOULD be, she had a 55 minute feed at lunchtime!!

Ryan has been to the speech and language therapist today, it was his first appointment, and she was absolutely lovely - it made such a nice change to explain Ryan's problems to someone who has seen it all before and actually understood what I was going on about!

The sun is (almost) shining, and it's nearly weekend (er......)!

    Happy happy days xxx :D:D
