but back to op yep you're right £200k for anything in slough is far too much, i think the whole UK is still waiting for the bombs to drop.

The point of this thread was not to slag off slough or anywhere else.

My point was that it's a poxy converted garage.

    Get it?
    A garage

And not even a decent one at that.
(check out the one still standing next door).

#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided

#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now

#3. Cheap houses are a good thing not a bad thing

You can get a much bigger/better looking property, with proper parking/garden in Slough on rightmove and cheaper.

    They're fools.

Hey I lived in slough. As with many other places it has good and bad areas but many many people have moved to slough because of there being excellent schools within the area. Castleview primary school is within the top 250 schools in the country and we are lucky to have 5 GRAMMAR schools.

I'm sure you'd be hard pressed to find that in many other areas of the country including probably where you live :p:p

i went to a grammar school, but didnt come away knowing 250 languages
