but not in exchange for changing feedback as to ebay it will be seen as bribing the buyer to manipulate feedback, which is breaking ebay policiesMiddlestitch wrote: »Perfectly reasonable for a seller to try and make matters better by offering a refund0

Possibly the seller was trying to resolve the problem, especially if the negative feedback was the first he knew of it - and let's face it, plenty of buyers take that option. Just look at the complaints which appear on this forum.0

Lets wait and see what the original poster says. There seems to be a disconnect here between experience of dealing with UK sellers and Chinese ones. Every single Chinese seller I have dealt with has had no interest in changing their listing or removing problem goods from sale.Possibly the seller was trying to resolve the problemWarning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. The item is a replacement wristband sold for a specific fitness tracker, but it does not fit it. The seller is continuing to sell exactly the same item, despite the negative feedback I left. They are not taking on board that the item they are selling is not fit for purpose.
It's only a cheap item, so I guess other buyers just throw it in the bin. It takes 3 weeks for the item to arrive in the post from China, and it was annoying that it didn't work when it arrived. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

I recently bought a camera mount from a Chinese seller which was described as being a suction mount but in reality it was attached with a sticky pad, no good for me as I want to be able to remove and fit it onto other surfaces. I informed the seller who refunded me but that was 6 weeks ago and it still says suction fit in the listings.WWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0
