Plug it in and Robert is your mothers brother!
I'm sorry espresso, but my ignorance in electronics defies belief. Where and how do I plug it? Do I need to unscrew the back of my PC?

It's very easy if you know how.

Never got our ME machine working on properly on the netgear wireless. It wouldn't share and play nicely. Unless it was the only one being wireless.

Even ME can cope with a network card. OP wants to connect ME PC to the router via Ethernet and his OH connect to a laptop using wireless.

I finally got Bt HomeHub, as my OH insisted because her friend had it, she did not want to do it my way, the boys on this forum may relate to that.
I have successfully installed the Hub with our PC, I cannot, however, connect my OH's laptop wirelessly, and therefore she has no Internet access on it. Can anyone help?
  • what have you done, and what happens, have you followed the instructions? is the pc wired or wireless?
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?

Got it to work, finally. Took me the best part of the afternoon.
When funds will allow me, I will upgrade the pc to XP. With new PC too.
  • The bad news is that the latest firmware for the homehub makes the wireless drop out constantly.

1 week on wireless after our powerplug burnt out was quite enough for me.
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
