But you haven't offered to collect your post. You (according to your first post) have simply asked that she forward things to you.

Is the reason for, or events round, your move being "last minute" reflect on the reason for not getting a response to your messages?

I moved house 2 weeks ago, I've messaged my landlady asking her to forward my post to my new address while I change the address for everything, she is ignoring my messages and I'm getting quite frustrated as I've got parcels due and doctors appointments for my baby. Does she have a legal requirement to forward my post to my new address?

You can simply call your doctor's surgery to find out if and when your baby has an appointment due?

As for your small, letter-box sized parcels, you've possiby lost them now. Why not just go round there and ask if she has them?

Try phoning her and asking when it is convenient for her for you to collect your post.

Text message questions irritate me. I often ignore them.

For your information moving was a last minute thing

are you saying you had less than 5 working days notice (the time Royal Mail require for post redirection) before having to move out...this does not sound legal
If you had longer than a weeks notice then this sounds like it is a case that you forgot about redirecting your post (or did not want to pay for a service)
Have you set up the redirection now?

    & then she stated
We had to move because she decided to sell. ...
As has been pointed out, you didn't have to move. The place being sold doesn't end tenancy nor require tenant to leave - yes, even if new owner is sitting outside with huge removals van, 3 bonkers kids, 2 incontinent rotties & a screaming hubbie...

If you left as a "last minute thing.." (whatever that is..) you may have a much bigger problem: Tenancy hasn;t ended. Was there a court order & bailiffs or did you and landlady sign surrender form? If not you almost certainly still have tenancy, still owe rent, and were I the landlord I'd be more than unhappy & most unwilling to forward parcels and mail...

    Hope the kid is OK.

Perhaps a little training or some other course may be wise given what you've told us?

    Cheers!
