Today's dinner will be home made shepherd's pie. Not made from Igor's recipe, though, I did read it but the first line put me off (" Peel two fresh, ripe shepherds.")
Well done!Filthy weather can have its advantages. :money:
I know....what are we to do with Igor and his grim recipes....?:eek:squanderscouse wrote: »Hello all!
Just stopping by to declare NSD 3 for yesterday.
No chance of one today as stayed up far too late watching all the election shenanigans and as a result got up late, missed bus and ended up forking out for a taxi to work, grr!
Here's to a frugal weekend!
Well done on getting no.3
The taxi trip could be considered an emergency spend, therefore allowed.....?Depends on how flexible you are. :cool:0 -

I'm not doing great this month
As my mental health deteriorates my spending goes up and up.
It's just silly things like getting the bus to the station to catch my work train because I am too tired to walk.
The worse thing is I do not have a single penny to my name left this month, so any money I do spend isn't mine, it's money I've borrowed off my OH or from the food budget wallet.
I will try and get on with the challenge.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020
Debt Free Stage 2 - Completed 50/181 Payments0 -
Best intentions yesterday, but DS needed a loan of twenty quid so Bank of Mum and Dad came to the rescue. Still got a NSD today though, making 7 altogether.
Florence you need to sort out a budget and stick to it. We all fall off the budgeting wagon occasionally, but just have to climb back on and continue. Have you looked at the Old Style threads? Lots of good ideas for being frugal on there. One life - your life - live it!0
