New job - signed contract but potentially job withdrawn?

What's the notice period in the contract? If you have a start date and a notice period, maybe you could potentially claim a salary for that notice period. Up to you whether you would want to. If it's your dream job and you want to keep the option open of employment by them at a later date, obviously it would close that door
Notice period is 1 month - I wouldn't want to burn bridges with them because of any potential future employment. I'll guess I'll have to wait and hope they have the decency to respond. I guess I am low on their priorities!0 -
I am not, incidentally, saying that they won't come back to you and confirm the offer. It's just best to move on and assume they won't.0

Update: Contacted the hiring manager who said basically said sorry for the lack of updates and that they had met with one of the Directors and there should be more info by Friday.
Very strange situation, I will be extremely annoyed if after what is nearly now 3 weeks after receiving the signed contract the job is withdrawn.0
