Barclaycard and Direct Debits

Ive got DD for all my credit cards and pretty sure even specified what date i wanted. Spoke to Barclaycard regards payment due date as it showed a date and i was 99% sure id made the manual payment (new card and dd haven't been taken yet). Nice oversea"s chap said yes your DD date is between 24th and 31st of each…

Yup. You have a normal statement date. If that date's a weekend it'll be the next Monday. 25 days later is the payment date. If that's a weekend it'll be the next Monday.

So that works out that 3 out of 7 payment dates will be Mon, 3 will be Fri, and 1 will be Tues. Not accounting for bank holidays which will shift things.
