  • Normally account switching refers to someone who banks elsewhere and wants to open their first account with the bank, in this case TSB. I'd therefore say that you won't get any account switching benefit if you're already with them

    I'd say that it's the actual Ts & Cs of switching offers that determine eligibility, rather than a random forum poster's preconceptions about who they may or may not be intended for, and OP's and bigadaj's experiences obviously endorse this!
