I used to live in Lindley and it's a very nice area to live in and handy for the M62. Saying that i wouldn't want to drive towards Leeds on a morning. There are frequent buses into town and frequent trains into Leeds, so that could be an option if you choose Lindley. I've also heard that the ground is very wet up there so could cause problems later
I don't know Morley though.

I am bit concerned about the wet ground issue at Lindley as it has been mentioned in this thread more than once. Is there a way to find out more?

Does it have to be Morley or Lindley? Bingley is 20 minutes by train from Leeds, and about 30 minutes by car from Halifax. It's a nice quiet town, with easy access to the Yorkshire Dales, but also handy for the whole Leeds/Bradford/Huddersfield/Halifax conurbation.No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0
