Hello

I bought a Fitbit Blaze smart watch couple days ago in currys. I am very unhappy with this product. It adds steps while driving a car and doesn't work as good as i thought it would with endomondo app.
I found on currys website that i can return unwanted item only unpacked or if its faulty. The problem is that this watch isn't faulty. It just is bad designed with doggy programming and I don't want it.

Is there any policy that says that I can return the watch if I am unhappy?

Thanks

give people a chance to advise - 20 mins is not enough!

Go back to Currys & ask.

Unless the second poster is a socket puppet of the OP, the second post makes no sense.

...It just is bad designed with doggy programming ...
Put it on the pooch? (Sorry, couldn't resist).
  • You say its not faulty - it sounds like it is. Is it supposed to add steps while driving?

Just tell them in Currys that it's faulty and be prepared for a, possibly prolonged, argument but stand your ground.

I had a similar issue with a PVR which was recording multiple versions of a series recording (the repeats on ITV2) plus I hated the fiddly remote which my sausage fingers had problems with. It took me maybe half an hour but I only complained about the multiple recordings and got the money back,

I did later find out why it was making the multiple recordings and it wasn't actually a fault but hey-ho.

Looks like a well known issue looking at the Fitbit website.

They suggest downloading this app >> DriveBit

Recording steps while driving wouldn't surprise me as if thigh movement is counted, you move your thighs quite a bit when using the pedals, especially the clutch pedal.
