Mis-sold Bannatyne Gym membership

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has had any success with getting up-front gym memberships back? I paid nearly £700 for a 12 month Bannatynes gym membership having been told there was wifi in the gym and that all cardio machines had music channels on. Neither proved to be true and I tried to cancel as I need music to motivate me! They are refusing. There is obviously nothing in my contract about the provision of wifi and music channels. The CAB advised I have been mis-sold the gym membership and so I should be able to have a 90 day winding down period of the contract but the gym are flat out refusing..
Any thoughts/advice?
Thank you

If that's the case then if you feel lucky you could take your case to the small claims court and if the judge believes your side of the story then you win the case.
On the other hand...
As you say this is a 'need', I am a bit surprised you didn't check more thoroughly beforehand.0 -
ipod?
(Other music players are available.)0 -
When the general manager tells you in your tour that it is the case then you don't feel the need to check it!
Their website states that there is wifi in the gym0 -

Then as I said, take your chance at court.

Poor excuse really tbh, everyone has access to music through their phones, cheap mp3 players etc.0
