USB plug to coaxial socket?

I'm trying to locate an adaptor, consisting of a USB plug on one end, and a coaxial socket on the other.

The coaxial plug I want to plug in, had an O/D of 5mm, and an I/D of 2.5mm.

I've got a Philips LifeLight Home Solar pendants kit, from Home Bargains.

I was hoping to plug the lamps into a 20,000 mAh, USB Power Pack I've got.

Search for 5.5 x 2.5 to usb. Don't think these are called co ax.

Unfortunately no.

My lamps have that coaxial plug on them, so I need a cable with the socket they fit into.

Again, unfortunately not.

check out CPC for plug/sockets , HOWEVER from memory the size (dia) tends to be an idea of the cutrrant they carry

And how does that affect me plugging it into a USB power pack?

cable diameter , power consumed , many other factors , just buy a socket then hack open a usb cable and solder said socket on


the box itself might contain a charging circit or even diodes to allow flow of power in one direction only , have you checked for power on the plug ?

if god had of wanted you to connect a power pack to those lights , he would have put a lead on amazon
